HM Queen Elizabeth II

We express our deepest sympathies for the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. The Queen’s dedication to the UK, other realms and territories is unparalleled and we thank her for her service.

The Queen held the position of Supreme Governor of the Church of England and holds a special place in the life of our school. Today at St Paul’s we will be having class discussions about the Queen, sharing memories of our jubilee celebrations and will hold a minute’s silence. Next week we will have a special Collective Worship and will recall some of the wonderful things the Queen did for so many people. We will also have a time for prayer and reflection as we show respect for the Queen and remember a truly remarkable woman.

Over the coming days we will observe the mourning period, follow guidance from the DfE and continue to support our pupils, families and staff.
